A video of the Island titled ‘Lighting Tenerife’ by the national influencer Marina Comes competes for the AMEX Traveler Award from the American Express financial institution. The competition is five other Spanish destinations in a contest that recognizes the best Spanish digital influencer for its ability to illustrate the best travel experience. The action has the collaboration of Turismo de Tenerife.
The insular councilor of Tourism, Alberto Bernabé, explains that "the video of Marina Comes makes shows the island in an attractive and entertaining way by some of the tourist attractions of Tenerife, from La Laguna and El Teide National Park, both World Heritage Sites; the Altos de Trevejos winery, with the wines and cheeses of the Island; Garachico and its natural pools, Masca or Los Gigantes Cliff ".
Bernabé emphasizes that both this video and the contest "bring great visibility to the island as a tourist destination and become an important promotional tool".
Tenerife competes for the prize with five other videos made by other influencers from the following destinations: Cáceres, Asturias, Córdoba, Rías Baixas and Huesca. Voting for the best can be done until next June 11 on the web www.latitudamex.es/premioviajeroamex
